I have had a rough week. It started with my dogs in the ER, which led to a sleepless night. They came home the next day and I was so glad to pick them up.
I've averaged six hours of sleep each night, which is not a good thing when you have to get up at like four thirty.
The good thing is I got to go to Walking With Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular on Friday, and it was AWESOME! I want to go again someday.
So after the show I thought I was going to get to bed and possibly get more than six hours of sleep.
Can anyone see where this is going?
I had to take Chloe to the ER. For any of you that don't know, she is my eldest female cockatiel, a yellow pearl pied. Her wing was bloody and I got her out to make sure it had stopped, only to find a nickle sized spot of blood and skin under her right wing. I couldn't tell if it was a wound or if she was just picking at herself, so of course I took her in.
Something has her stressed to where she started pulling her feathers. She is laying right now, but never did it with her other broods. She may be stressed out because Shade (her daughter) tries to sit on the eggs in her place. She's on antibiotics to help, and we'll see what happens.
I hope she'll be ok.
I went in to work today to cover for Amber, then came home. I was going to get some rest, but instead went to my cousin Lydia and her fiance Tim's baptism (not my thing, I just volunteered to take photos for them). Now I'm going to play Animal Crossing before going to my aunt's house for dinner.
Next week I'm both looking forward to and wary of. I've been asked to hang out/go on a date with a couple of guys (not at the same time of course, duh.). Mini golf with one on Tuesday, and dinner or something else with the other on Wednesday.
We shall see how that goes.
